Who We Are
Worry Free Homecare Services LLC is a family owned and operated team of professionals and referral services located in Eastern North Carolina. Collectively, our team has over 25 years in construction and management experience with the hospitality industry, 25 years in supply chain management/consulting, 20 years within the information technology field, and numerous entrepreneurial endeavors. More importantly, we have been a “remote†owner of one or more properties in Carteret and Onslow counties for the past 30 years.
Al Zorner, our managing partner, earned both his Bachelor and Master of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey. His professional career began with Union Carbide Corporation, joined the startup team for the highly acclaimed Foxwoods Resort Casino as the technical guru, and led over 300 IBM specialists in creating ecommerce websites for many of the Fortune 500 companies. During this same period, Al maintained properties in Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and North Caroina.
Al recognized maintaining properties remotely is very difficult! In 2004 he surveyed over 100 remote homeowners to determine if they shared similar opinions. Some 25 percent responded that he was not alone; they highlighted the need for a reliable yet affordable service to represent their interests locally – either directly or in some limited fashion.
Relocating to North Carolina, Al applied these ideas to his properties and those of his friends. Learning from his mistakes, creating a network of craftsmen, building relationships with local suppliers and applying his business “know howâ€, Al and his associates were proud to announce WORRY FREE HOMECARE SERVICES LLC in August, 2007.
All too often homecare services are offered on a casual basis perhaps as an afterthought to someone’s “real†business – we provide a one-stop-shop to second homeowners in the area, offering them complete peace of mind. It’s hard work but rewarding!
